Terms of Service
Last updated: July 26, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Aliocast ("Aliocast", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the Aliocast websites, applications, command-line tools, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to it.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Questions are welcome at me@mohitt.com.
2. The Service
Aliocast is an automation platform for AI-generated video channels. It turns a creative brief into a channel guide, generates episode scripts, images, and videos through configurable approval gates, schedules and publishes finished episodes to connected social platforms (such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram), and reports performance analytics.
The Service is bring-your-own-key ("BYOK"): content generation runs against API keys for third-party AI providers (for example Anthropic, Google, and ElevenLabs) that you supply from your own provider accounts. Usage of those providers is billed by the providers directly to you, at their rates. Aliocast does not resell provider capacity and does not mark up provider costs; cost figures shown in the Service are estimates for your convenience and do not constitute billing by Aliocast.
We may improve, modify, or discontinue features of the Service over time. Material reductions in functionality of a paid plan will be communicated in advance where reasonably practicable.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Accounts are created by signing in with Google OAuth; no other sign-in method is supported. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account you sign in with and for all activity that occurs under your Aliocast account.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are compromised, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with different limits (channels, videos per day, seats, and features). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the plan remains active until then. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails and remains unpaid, we may downgrade the account to the free plan or suspend paid features after reasonable notice.
Plan prices and limits may change; changes to the price of your subscription will be notified in advance and apply from your next billing period. Taxes may be added where required. Third-party AI provider costs are separate from subscription fees and are always billed to you by the providers directly.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create with the Service — channel guides, characters, scripts, images, videos, and metadata (together, "Your Content"), to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of the AI providers whose keys you use.
You grant Aliocast a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service — including sending prompts to your configured AI providers and publishing episodes to social platforms on your instruction. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content, including its legality, its compliance with the policies of the platforms you publish to, any required disclosures about synthetic or AI-generated media, and your compliance with the terms of the AI providers whose keys you connect.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or regulation, or infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
- create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or deliberately deceptive (including undisclosed synthetic media where disclosure is required);
- distribute malware, spam, or engage in platform manipulation such as artificial engagement schemes;
- circumvent plan limits, quotas, or access controls, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau without our written consent.
7. Third-party platforms and providers
The Service interoperates with third-party services you choose to connect, including Google, social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), and AI providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them.
Social account tokens you grant to Aliocast are used only to act on your instructions — for example publishing an approved episode or reading its performance metrics. We are not responsible for the availability, decisions, or policies of third-party services, including content removals or account actions they may take.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon account deletion, your data is deleted from our production systems within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for costs you incur with third-party AI providers, including costs arising from failed or repeated generations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aliocast will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid to Aliocast in the 12 months before the claim arose and USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold Aliocast harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction unless applicable law provides otherwise.
